The role

We are currently recruiting a Finance Assistant for our client, a local manufacturing company in the Stourbridge area. As a Finance Assistant, you will be faced with a variety of duties to ensure a smooth running of the financial side to the business.

Main duties (not limited too):

  • Purchase ledger invoice processing.
  • Scanning on goods receipts onto the system.
  • Creditor list preparation and payment posting.
  • Management of the finance emails.
  • Sales in voice processing.
  • Credit control, including statements and chasing.
  • Customer payment processing.
  • Weekly sales invoice reporting.
  • Accruals and prepayments.
  • Journal posting.
  • Labor hours input for staff members.
  • Updating the order system with proof of delivery.

The ideal candidate:

  • An experienced accounts assistant.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Confident using a range of computer systems (Particularly Excel).
  • Ability to work independently and amongst a team.
