Zest Education is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Maths Teacher to inspire and educate students in a dynamic learning environment full-time in January 2025 (or earlier if possible). Based in the Stourbridge area, this role offers the opportunity to join a supportive and inclusive school community committed to student success.

Key responsibilities:

  • Plan and teach engaging lessons that motivate the students in your subject and cater to the needs of diverse learner
  • Mark and assess students work and track student progression
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and participation.
  • Have excellent curriculum knowledge that continues to develop with the advances in the subject - particularly the new and engaging ways to teach Maths as the subject continues to evolve.
  • Have strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.

To apply for this role, you will need:

  • QTS - Qualified Teacher status in Maths (ECT’s, formerly known as NQT’s, are encouraged to apply)
  • Excellent subject knowledge of Maths in Key Stages 3 (KS3) and 4 (KS4) is essential
  • Excellent behaviour and classroom management skills
  • A strong school reference from your recent employer/placement

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications.
