We are currently recruiting for a hire Controller to join one of our well-established clients in the Stourbridge area. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, both written and verbal and have strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

The Hire Controller is responsible for managing the rental process of equipment, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining accurate records. This role does not require prior experience, as training will be provided.

Job requirements:

  • Provide a high level of customer service to both new and existing customers
  • To handle all customer enquires (face to face, phone and email)
  • Follow up on any quotations enquires
  • Maintain CRM system and ensure that the data is accurate and up to date
  • Ensure all paperwork and certifications are compliant and up to date
  • Ensure all hire numbers are correct ready for collection
  • Unsure stock is maintained and accurate
  • Ensure all losses and damages are communicated to the customer in a timely manner
  • Any other duties as required

The successful candidate:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in office software.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.
  • Be highly organised in their work and have excellent time management skills.
  • Experience in a customer service-based role.
  • Be computer confident and be able to use systems such as Microsoft Office.
  • Be able to work effectively on your own and collectively as a wider team.
