We are proud to be an award winning business who operate in the Wyre Forest and Worcestershire. We provide a range of bookkeeping services to various sized businesses (Sole Traders, Limited Companies and Partnerships).
Due to continued business growth, we are looking to grow our team. We are looking for an organised individual with strong attention to detail, who can work on their own initiative to support Rosemary Bookkeeping with bookkeeping across multiple accounting systems, to include Xero, Kashflow, Sage plus others as required.
We are looking for a competent individual who will be able to support the company director in continuing to grow our customer base whilst providing a high level of service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Weekly, monthly and quarterly bookkeeping to include accurately recording invoices raised and bills received.
- Reconcile bank transactions.
- Post journals for prepayments, accruals, payroll and other monthly/annual adjustments.
- Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns for bookkeeping clients.
- Liaise with clients for weekly / monthly and quarterly bookkeeping
- Implementation of general process improvement.
- Assist with any other related accounting and internal finance work.
Requirements:
- Willing to work on customer site where required
- AAT qualified / Part qualified
- At least 2 years bookkeeping experience
- Easily approachable and skilled at building a good rapport with clients
- Positive, proactive and can-do attitude with an ability to multi-task.
- Experience with cloud accounting software (preferably Xero)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office platforms
- Attention to detail and can take a systematic and consistent approach to data
- Focus on quality and a drive to get the job done right with high standards, checking own work to ensure that quality and due diligence.
- Able to problem solve and investigate issues working on own initiative.
Role details
Expected start date: ASAP
Contract: Initial 6 month contract to be reviewed at end of period
Hours: Initially 30 hours per week (Monday Friday TBC) to be worked between Stourport office and client offices. Must have full clean UK driving license.
