We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at a leading EfW facility in Kidderminster. This role involves delivering a range of planned and reactive electrical testing and maintenance, working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders on upgrades and installation projects within a demanding environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all electrical systems and apparatus are operated and maintained correctly.
  • Test site electrical systems and apparatus according to required regulations.
  • Manage and monitor maintenance contracts for specialist equipment.
  • Develop and implement obsolescence plans for electrical equipment.
  • Enhance cybersecurity measures and maintain software baselines and backups.
  • Collaborate with Mechanical, Controls, and Instrument Engineers as required.
  • Investigate and resolve faults across the facility, providing regular updates to management.
  • Report all health, safety, and environmental concerns via the site reporting system.
Key Competencies:
  • Minimum of a Higher National Certificate in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least five years of relevant experience post-qualification.
  • Broad experience with process electrical systems, including high and low voltage.
  • Expertise with electrical-driven actuators and motors.
  • 18th Edition certified.
  • Experience in the energy or waste sector is advantageous.
