Trainee Contracts Engineer

Our client is seeking a Junior/Trainee Contracts Engineer to join their dynamic team. About the Role

As a Junior/Trainee Contracts Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth communication, documentation, and execution of orders. With full training provided, this role is designed to develop your skills and knowledge, leading to a future career as a Contracts Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create detailed order acknowledgements using a computerised system.
  • Produce manufacturing drawings and sketches as required.
  • Liaise with clients via phone and email, resolving order queries.
  • Issue accurate manufacturing instructions to ensure timely order completion.
  • Assist senior team members with various projects and provide support to the Sales Department when needed.
What We’re Looking For
  • Qualifications:
    • GCSE grade 6 or above in Maths and English, and grade 5 in Physics.
    • At least one relevant A-Level at grade C or above, or a BTEC Level 3 qualification as an alternative.
  • Skills and Attributes:
    • Exceptional attention to detail with a methodical and investigative approach.
    • Strong organizational and communication skills.
    • An interest in engineering and a desire to learn and grow in the field.
