Assistant Management Accountant

Your new companyAn established and growing organisation in Suffolk, my client is recruiting for the position of Assistant Management Accountant at their site located between Stowmarket and Eye, SuffolkYour new roleReporting to and working closely with the Financial Controller you will assist in preparing insightful financials and managing financial controls. Key duties will include supporting with the month-end process including balance sheet reconciliations and accruals and prepayments; stock and costing analysis; budgeting and forecasting; variance analysis; and supporting with transactional and bookkeeping tasks.What you'll need to succeed- You will be AAT Qualified and studying for your CIMA/ACCA qualification or have equivalent practical experience. - Experience of supporting with month-end processes and reporting will be key.- Strong systems skills will be essential including an intermediate knowledge of Excel. - Confident communication skills with the ability to build strong working relationships with finance and non-finance colleagues- Located in a rural location (15-20 minutes drive from Eye, Stowmarket, Framlingham) own transport required.What you'll get in return- £34000 - £40000- Study support if you are currently studying towards CIMA or ACCA or wish to commence- Hybrid working options What you need to do nowIf you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.If this job isn't quite right for you, but you are looking for a new position, please contact us for a confidential discussion about your career.
