We are seeking a Service & Projects Administrator to provide exceptional after-sales service and support to our customers in the food processing and manufacturing industries. This role is pivotal in ensuring customer satisfaction and optimising the performance of our food processing and packaging machinery. The successful candidate will have a strong mechanical and electrical background and will be comfortable working both in the office and in the field.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Provide office-based after-sales service and support to customers.
  • Prepare quotes for spare parts, preventative maintenance, and chargeable work.
  • Conduct customer follow-ups and focus on equipment optimisation.
  • Perform equipment Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) in the UK and at European suppliers.
  • Assist with installation support, commissioning, and staff training.
  • Address line snagging issues and liaise with suppliers.
  • Drive sales of ancillary equipment and promote the company’s full range of products and services.
  • Provide technical support and backup to the sales team, contributing to the sale of new projects.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Technical background, preferably in food machinery.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with strong mechanical and electrical knowledge.
  • Ability to work autonomously, make decisions, and think clearly under pressure.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and excellent organisational and administration abilities.
  • Confident in a customer-facing role, with good negotiation skills.
  • A proactive “can do” attitude and a team player.
  • Willingness to learn, achieve goals, and progress within the company.
  • Electrical knowledge and CAD/SolidWorks proficiency are advantageous.
  • German or Dutch language skills would be beneficial.
