I am delighted to be partnering with a prestigious business near Stowmarket seeking to recruit an PROJECT ANALYST in a key role to monitor, analyse and report on project performance with primary focus on intercompany capital expenditure, income, and variations.

Responsibilities include:

• Identify all issues relating to variations and general intercompany project work and rectify any shortcomings in controls, procedures or otherwise that lead to inaccurate budgets

• Investigate and report on Capital Expenditure against budget for all projects

• Ensure that all billing including quotes & variations on major projects are invoiced in full and that all opportunities to recover costs are taken

• To be the business partner liaising with various internal stakeholders to enhance the process around budgeting and financial management of projects

• Produce monthly reports summarising progress with major projects and any actions emanating from investigation

• Provide assistance with the forecasting of the top projects

• Investigate and report on projects deemed complete and close as appropriate

• Investigate and report on projects with significant deferred income balances as well as those with aged balances.

• Ad-hoc analysis as directed by management.

You will ideally be an AAT studier with experience in a finance role and intermediate excel skills. you will be an open-minded fast learner dedicated to offering a quality service to all customers and with a "can do" attitude.
