We are looking for an experienced Pastry Chef to join a privately owned and award winning 2 Rosette Gastro Pub/Restaurant based in the Suffolk Countryside. This Michelin recommended Restaurant is located in a stunning Grade 2 listed building that has been lovingly converted and modernised by its owners, to showcase the best of British cuisine. The venue has been awarded 2 AA Rosettes, and has also been Michelin recommended, as well as being featured in many "good food guides."

The venue holds 60 covers and also has conference and banqueting facilities, as well as running a classic pub menu and a fine dining restaurant, so the ideal Pastry Chef will be confident in producing and presenting a very high standard of fresh food.

This high end venue is looking for a talented Pastry Chef to join their close-knit brigade, to take control of the Pastry section, and produce a high standard of desserts. They are looking for a Pastry Chef who ideally has a fine dining background, and who has completed the relevant NVQ’s or equivalent qualifications.

This fast-paced environment requires a person who will work closely in the brigade of five other chefs and under intense pressure, maintain excellent communication skills. The ideal Pastry Chef will have a real passion for high level cuisine and fantastic food presentation. Whilst being able to work as part of a team, they should take their own initiative, and be innovative with concepts and ideas. They should also be looking to grow and develop alongside this blossoming business.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Pastry Chef looking to progress their career in a 2AA Rosette establishment alongside a talented Head Chef.
