We are excited to offer a career opportunity with a leading equipment sales company. They are currently seeking a driven and ambitious Area Sales Executive to join their team.

Role Overview:As an Area Sales Executive, you will play a key role in driving equipment sales across the UK and Ireland. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your career within a highly autonomous role, where you will be an integral part of the sales team, responsible for managing day-to-day sales activities in your assigned territory.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide sales coverage for a range of equipment in the UK and Ireland
  • Manage customer relationships, achieve sales targets, and promote a full range of products
  • Conduct market research, telephone prospecting, and customer visits
  • Arrange and oversee customer trials, installations, and training
  • Collaborate with suppliers on projects and provide sales reports to the Sales Director
  • Assist with machine installations and troubleshooting as needed

Required Skills:

  • Strong communication and sales abilities

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in the food processing or manufacturing industries
  • Knowledge of CRM systems and sales reporting processes

Experience:

  • Previous experience in equipment sales or a similar field
  • Strong understanding of capital equipment and customer relationship management

Salary & Benefits:

Shift Pattern:

  • Monday to Friday, 9 am - 5 pm

Working Location:This role is based in Stowmarket, with office-based activities combined with fieldwork across the UK and Ireland.
