HGV Class 2 Ready-mix Concrete Driver

Join the leading supplier of site-mix and ready-mixed concrete in the Eastern Region!

As an HGV Class 2 Ready-mix Concrete Driver, you’ll be at the heart of operations, ensuring the concrete reaches a variety of sites and customers across Stowmarket. This full-time role offers 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with the opportunity for overtime hours.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Hold a full HGV Licence with Driver Qualification Card and Driver CPC
  • Knowledge of Stowmarket roads would be beneficial
  • You will need to be enthusiastic, reliable and customer focussed
  • Excellent time and communication skills are essential
  • Ability to build and retain positive internal and external relationships
  • Flexible in your approach and willing to learn all aspects of the business to carry out various duties

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safe and efficient delivery of ready-mix concrete to various locations.
  • Complete daily vehicle checks and keep your truck in top condition.
  • Work in accordance with safe practices and legislation with regards to Driver Hours and the Working Time Directive.
  • Complete required paperwork with good attention to detail.
  • Assist the Plant Supervisor as required.
