We are seeking an experienced Conveyancer to join a leading law firm in Suffolk. As a Conveyancer, you will be responsible for handling a caseload of residential and commercial conveyancing transactions, providing exceptional client service and working closely with clients to ensure their needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle a varied caseload of residential and commercial conveyancing transactions, including purchases, sales, remortgages, and transfers of equity
  • Prepare and review contracts, guarantees, and other legal documents
  • Conduct searches and investigations on property titles
  • Liaise with clients, lenders, estate agents, and other professionals to ensure timely and smooth transactions
  • Identify and manage potential risks and issues in transactions
  • Provide expert advice to clients on conveyancing matters
  • Maintain accurate records and files, ensuring compliance with firm policies and procedures
  • Contribute to the development of the Property Department's marketing strategy and business development initiatives

Requirements:

  • 4-5 years' PQE in conveyancing or a related field
  • Strong understanding of residential and commercial conveyancing law and practice
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
  • Ability to work towards targets and contribute to the growth of the department
