Industrial Electrician

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our medium-sized plant, part of a large global organisation. The role involves installation, maintenance, and removal of electrical components within the industrial and office environments of the site. The ideal candidate will work under minimal supervision and report directly to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Perform safe completion of routine and non-routine repairs, installations, and removals of primarily electrical equipment, as well as mechanical equipment as required.
  • Operate fixed and mobile power tools, such as drills, saws, and impact drivers, and vehicles including counterbalance forklift trucks and articulated boom lifts.
  • Assist in troubleshooting industrial electrical equipment and instrumentation, including interpreting basic to intermediate electrical diagrams.
  • Take on additional responsibilities and duties as needed to support the business.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Right to live and work in the UK.
  • Level 3 Diploma in electrical installation, inspection, testing certification and reporting, or equivalent.
  • Proficient in English communication, both verbal and written.
  • Familiar with the safe use of hand and power tools and interpreting risk assessments.
  • Ability to interpret basic electrical diagrams.
  • Experience with 3-Phase and low voltage up to 415V.
Desired Skills:
  • GCSEs in mathematics/engineering/physics.
  • 1-2 years’ experience in an industrial setting.
  • PLC/SCADA/HMI experience (not essential but advantageous).
