This is an exciting opportunity to join the maintenance team of a medium sized industrial plant. Duties include but are not limited to installation, maintenance and removal of electrical components within the industrial and office environments of the site. This position is based around maintenance, fault-finding, installations & testing works under minimal supervision. The firm is looking for a qualified electrician, ideally with industrial experience, who is looking for a new challenge as part of a multi-skilled maintenance team.This position would suit somebody who also has an interest in working with heavy machinery, as well as welding and fabricating techniques. In-depth on-the-job and external training will be provided, and the job role is based in a large, well-equipped workshop with a wide range of tools and equipment (CNC Plasma, lathe, mill etc.).Working Hours Monday to Friday.Rotating shift pattern - 0600-1415 / 1400-2215.Duties Overview: 1. Safe completion of routine and non-routine repairs, installations and removals of primarily electrical equipment, but also of mechanical equipment as required.2. Use of fixed and mobile power tools, including but not limited to drills, saws and impact drivers. Use of vehicles including counterbalance forklift trucks and articulated boom lifts.3. Assist in the troubleshooting of industrial electrical equipment and instrumentation, including the interpretation of basic to intermediate electrical diagrams.4.
