A well-established food production company is seeking aMulti-Skilled Shift Engineerto join their engineering team. This role is crucial in maintaining and optimising production equipment across a large-scale manufacturing site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance, installations, and breakdown repairs.
- Conduct planned preventative maintenance to minimise downtime.
- Support plant modifications and scheduled shutdown maintenance.
- Diagnose and repair electrical systems, motors, pumps, actuators, and conveyors.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and maintain high hygiene standards.
- Participate in an on-call rota to provide emergency breakdown support.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven engineering experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Electrical & Mechanical qualifications (Level 3 preferred, 18th Edition desirable).
- Additional certifications such as IPAF, PASMA, or Forklift (beneficial but not essential).
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Shift Pattern & Benefits:
- Panama Shift (42 hours per week).
