Job Title: Technical Officer - Health and Safety Specialist Location: Lowestoft Job Overview:On behalf of our client, we are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Technical Officer - Health and Safety Specialist. This role involves leading and providing essential health and safety advice, support, and inspections for the Asset Management Team and Operations Service. The successful candidate will be the named officer responsible for maintaining health and safety standards for the client’s land, infrastructure, and buildings, with a particular focus on CDM Regulations and the Health and Safety at Work Act. Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert health and safety advice and support to the Asset Management Team and Operations Service.
  • Conduct thorough health and safety inspections to ensure compliance with CDM Regulations and the Health and Safety at Work Act.
  • Maintain high health and safety standards across the client’s land, infrastructure, and buildings.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Significant experience in a similar role or a strong background in health and safety, with knowledge of engineering-related disciplines and associated regulations.
  • Degree level qualification in Health and Safety, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • NEBOSH/IOSH certification.
  • Proficiency in relevant methods and materials in health and safety.
