This is an exciting opportunity to join the maintenance team of a medium sized industrial plant. The role is based in the site's large, well-equipped workshop and its primary duties include but are not limited to installation, maintenance and removal of machinery and other industrial mechanical equipment within the factory portion of the site. Also performs general maintenance and installation work in the office environment. Works under minimal supervision of more senior mechanics and reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor.Working Hours Monday to Friday.Rotating shift pattern - 0600 -1415 / 1400-2215.Duties include:Safe completion of routine repairs, installations and removals of mechanical equipment including but not limited to jaw crushers, conveyor belts, pneumatic valves and hydraulic systems.Use of fixed and mobile power tools, including but not limited to pillar drills, bandsaws, welding sets, lathe & mill, plasma cutters and CNC plasma table.
