Transport Operator

the role.

This is an exciting role as a Transport Operator in a leading business where you will play a key role in ensuring the implementation of the company's outbound logistics operations. Additionally, you'll contribute to the continuous improvement of logistics processes and provide administrative support, all while upholding the companys health and safety standards! In this role you will be required to work Monday Friday, 9am 5pm.

Your daily duties include:

Prepare orders for vehicle movements
Communicate with internal departments and external warehouses for order picking or delivery requirements
Coordinate with external transport hauliers
Assess and evaluate service provision requirements
Raise warehouse picking orders using internal software
Confirm Proof of Delivery (POD)
Input data with high accuracy
Continuously improve daily processes

what were looking for.

Were looking for someone with experience in a logistics environment and a solid understanding of UK and European geography. You should have proven customer service skills with excellent verbal and written communication, as well as being proactive, flexible, and detail oriented. The ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain high standards under pressure in a fast-paced setting is essential. Advanced computer literacy in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint is required, along with experience coordinating transport suppliers and ensuring timely deliveries. Strong organizational skills and a team-oriented, approachable attitude are key to succeeding in this role.
