We are on the lookout for a meticulous and seasoned individual to spearhead our clients Will writing, Power of Attorney, and Estate Administration services. This pivotal role demands a candidate with a robust track record, boasting at least 5 years of hands-on experience and membership with the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners (STEP). The successful applicant will be instrumental in nurturing the team, shaping technical strategies, and enhancing training programmes.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Over-see the delivery of top-tier will writing and power of attorney services, ensuring compliance with the STEP Will Writing Code.
  • Navigate the complexities of estate administration.
  • Offer bespoke technical support across the business, identifying opportunities for service enhancement.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of existing wills, LPAs, and trust arrangements, providing peace of mind and clarity to clients.
  • Lead the charge in registering and supervising appointments under Enduring Powers of Attorney, safeguarding client interests.
  • Administer trusts with precision, managing distributions with empathy and expertise following the loss of a lifetime beneficiary.
  • Craft and deliver comprehensive training workshops, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the team.

Candidate Profile:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in managing Wills, LPAs, and Estates.
  • A full UK driving licence and readiness to travel for client and estate visits.
  • Membership in the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners (STEP).
  • A deep understanding of the legal framework surrounding Wills and LPAs, coupled with experience liaising with the OPG and Court of Protection.
  • Insightful knowledge of post-death tax planning strategies.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to support families during sensitive times.
  • Proficiency in trust law, taxes, and accounting principles.
  • A self-starter with the drive to work independently and prioritise effectively.
  • A strategic thinker with an eye for identifying and nurturing new business avenues.
