We are partnering with a top ranked and prestigious law firm with offices across the Suffolk region, who are seeking to recruit for a Private Client Solicitor three years PQE+. This is a permanent, full-time position, that offers flexible hybrid working.

Key Role Responsibilities:

  • Managing a varied caseload of private client matters
  • Advising clients on wills, estate administration, and probate issues
  • Assisting clients in matters related to lasting powers of attorney and Court of Protection applications
  • Conducting estate planning activities, including inheritance tax planning and trusts
  • Providing guidance and support to clients in matters of lifetime gifting and charitable giving
  • Preparing legal documentation, such as wills and powers of attorney
  • Researching and staying up-to-date with changes in legislation and industry best practises

Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor 3 years+ PQE with experience in the private client sector.
  • Ideally have broad experience handling wills, probate, estate planning, and lasting powers of attorney
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Proven experience managing a caseload with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
