Conveyancing Legal Assistant / Paralegal - Suffolk

New opportunity for an experienced Conveyancing Legal Assistant or Paralegal to join a long-standing and reputable firm in Suffolk.

This opportunity would be a progressive move for someone who is seeking an opportunity for training and development, and who would be comfortable in supporting across a busy conveyancing case-load, with the view of progressing into a Fee Earner position.

As the successful Conveyancing Assistant / Paralegal you will be handling various aspects of residential conveyancing from pre / post completion, including:

  • Maintaining accurate records and files, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
  • Drafting contracts and documentation.
  • Checking client ID.
  • Dealing with client enquires and providing progress reports to clients.
  • Assisting with exchange of contracts and completion.
  • Conducting property searches and gather necessary information for transactions.
  • Preparing and filing Stamp Duty returns.
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, and other third parties to facilitate smooth transactions.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in residential conveyancing, or a similar role within a legal environment with a keen interest in developing their knowledge within Property work.
