Contract: Permanent

Hours: Rotational Days/Night (12 on 12 off)

Salary/Benefits: £44,000 + 5% bonus + Competitive Pension

What you'll do:

As a Warehouse Shift Manager, your role will be pivotal in maintaining the smooth operation of our client's warehouse. You'll be at the forefront, leading your team to ensure orders are accurately picked, marshalled, unloaded and loaded according to customer specifications. Your keen eye for detail will be crucial in conducting daily workplace inspections and implementing Personal Development Plans for your team members. With your strong communication skills, you'll liaise regularly with Team Leaders and Senior Managers to address any arising issues. Your commitment to Health & Safety standards will ensure a safe working environment for all.

  • Leading a team of Team Leaders and General Warehouse Operatives in their daily workload.
  • Ensuring that orders are picked, marshalled, unloaded and loaded in line with Customer specifications.
  • Carrying out daily inspections of the workplace.
  • Completing and carrying out Personal Development Plans for all members of their team.
  • Maintaining high standards of Health & Safety within the working environment.
  • Communicating regularly with Team Leaders/Senior Managers regarding any issues that may arise within the warehouse.
  • Managing the team's performance in line with KPI's as required.
  • Adhering to Hygiene policy ensuring that the companies waste management program is adhered too and that we remain BRC compliant.
