Primary Supply Teacher

Red Lodge

£140 - £160 a day

Randstad is seeking enthusiastic Primary Supply Teachers to join the team on a flexible basis, providing invaluable support to schools and students in and around Red Lodge. As a Primary School Supply Teacher, you will have the chance to work in various schools in and around Red Lodge, gaining valuable experience and opening doors to other teaching opportunities. This varied experience will enable you to make more informed decisions should you be looking to secure a permanent teaching role, giving you a diverse understanding of your preferences and strengths.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivering pre-prepared lessons and activities in an engaging and supportive manner.
  • Establishing a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and learning.
  • Supporting students' academic and social development in the absence of the regular class teacher.
  • Collaborating with school staff to ensure a seamless transition during temporary assignments.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage One (KS1) & Key Stage Two (KS2) curriculum
  • Eligibility to work in the UK (sponsorship is not an option)
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
  • Strong classroom behaviour management skills are essential
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service
  • Strong work ethic and dedication to student success
