Position: Lab Technician
Responsibilities:
- Support the Research and Development team in our Test Laboratory.
- Work alongside Product Designers, Application Engineers, and the Quality team.
- Care and maintain test lab equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Prepare samples for mechanical and environmental testing.
- Conduct tests and record results accurately.
- Periodically audit and inspect finished products.
- Report to the Director of Research and Development.
What You’ll Do:
- Plan, set up, and conduct controlled tests and trials.
- Develop and manage test procedures and standards.
- Document and present results and conclusions to cross-functional teams.
- Provide technical support on New Product Development projects.
- Manage or liaise with third-party test houses for outsourced testing.
- Perform root-cause investigations into quality issues.
What You’ll Bring:
- Experience in the manufacturing industry (3+ years preferred).
- Experience working in a Test Lab environment.
- GCSEs in English, Mathematics, and Sciences or equivalent.
- Preferably HNC or BEng Degree in a related discipline.

- Salary: £25,000 to £32,000 p.a.
