Join our dedicated SEMH school in Suffolk, committed to nurturing and supporting students with social, emotional, and mental health needs. We are looking for a passionate Food Technology Teacher to empower our students through innovative and engaging culinary education.

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality food technology lessons tailored to the diverse needs of SEMH students.
• Develop and implement creative and practical cooking projects that inspire and engage students.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
• Ensure a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes participation and learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular projects and enhance student learning experiences.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of health and safety regulations pertinent to food technology.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience teaching food technology, ideally within an SEMH or special education setting.
• Strong understanding of the educational needs and challenges faced by SEMH students.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate.
• A strong passion for food and cooking, coupled with a commitment to student development.
