Homeless Housing Options Officer Required

Location:  Ashfield Nottingham   (Hybrid)

Duration:   2-3 months +

Hours: 35hrs

Start Date: ASAP

Venn Group are looking for dedicated Homeless Housing Options Officer to join a Leading Housing Association. If you are passionate about supporting vulnerable people and looking for your next challenge apply now!!

 The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Working with Part VII Housing Act 1996
  • Professionally make S184 Decisions
  • Candidate will oversee the whole Homeless process from first point of contact until the very end and placing them in suitable accommodation
  • Assess homeless housing applications
  • Work and understand the perimeters of the Homeless Reduction Act 2017
  • Support service users with making housing and benefit applications.
  • Give service users general advice on housing and any other benefits they are entitled too
  • Person will be responsible for homeless prevention and relief.

The successful candidate will have: 

  • Full UK Drivers License
  • DBS
  • Minimum of a 1 year experience
  • Made s184 decisions
