Are you a proactive and skilled Vehicle Maintenance Technician? This is your chance to take on a vital role in maintaining, repairing, and modifying a fleet of vehicles and trailers while providing essential technical support from fault analysis to resolution.
Key Responsibilities- Perform maintenance, repairs, and modifications on vehicles and trailers to ensure safe operation.
- Deliver high-quality technical work while adhering to Health & Safety standards.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic faults.
- Safely operate workshop equipment, tools, and machinery.
- Maintain accurate records and complete documentation promptly.
- City & Guilds qualification in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an HGV Mechanic or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of vehicles, trailers, and workshop equipment.
- Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
- Preferable but not essential: HGV C+E licence (Class 1) and current ADR certification.
- 25 days of annual leave (increasing with service) + bank holidays.
