Just Recruitment seeks a Warehouse Operative to join a well-regarded growing business in Stowmarket. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for achieving turnaround and despatch of orders into the Warehouse, including unloading and positioning of incoming stock in a timely manner. These requirements will be implemented correctly and efficiently, whilst upholding the standards of the business, maximising productivity, and ensuring service delivery of the highest level.The ideal candidate will have experience in a warehouse environment, a current forklift certification (Reach & Counterbalance) are a must, and strong organisational skills. Excellent communication, a problem-solving approach, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment are essential. Duties include:Co-forklift drivingForklift maintenanceLoading vehiclesUnloading vehiclesPositioning of stockPicking and packing of ordersProviding facilities assistance as and when requiredPerformance of daily duties in a professional and responsible mannerAt all times be respectful of your immediate colleagues and work effectively and efficiently as a team to achieve end goalKey skills:Proven experience in a Warehouse environmentCurrent Forklift certification (Reach & Counterbalance)Proactive with an eye for detailFlexible and adaptable approachSound organisational abilitiesAbility to prioritiseMonday - Friday, either on early shift (6:00am - 3:30pm) or late shift (7:30am - 5:00pm) with flexibility in hours required and ability to stay late if and when necessary.
