Sub / Site Agent – Stranraer – Up to £60,000 DOE + Car / Allowance + Subsistence / Working Away Allowance

First Task Professional are delighted to be working alongside a business who have an excellent foothold in the power and renewables market in Scotland.

They have a record order book for the year ahead and are seeking skilled Sub & Site Agents to bolster their delivery teams for projects £5m-£30m in value.

The business have an excellent reputation of being consistently busy, profitable & invest heavily in the growth of their staff with a clear track record of interal promotions.

The contractor operate all over Scotland, so working away from home may be required at points. (They will attempt to keep everyone as close to home where possible.)

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Ensure SHEQ compliance.
  • Represent the company professionally.
  • Plan, execute, and manage site works per contracts.
  • Hire labor, procure materials, and manage subcontractors.
  • Control costs, valuations, and reporting.
  • Maintain records, documentation, and attend meetings.
  • Mentor juniors and pursue professional growth.

Requirements:

  • HNC/HND/Degree in Civil Engineering/Construction.
  • CSCS Card (Essential), SMSTS & TWS/TWC (Desirable).
  • Relevant experience in engineering/construction.
  • Strong IT, communication, leadership, and time management skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
