The Opportunity:
Are you an experienced Fire Alarm Installation Engineer looking for your next opportunity? Join a dynamic team in Reading, where you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and compliance of fire alarm systems for a variety of clients.
Responsibilities:
- Install, test, and commission fire alarm systems to the highest standards.
- Work on a range of systems, including addressable and conventional fire alarms.
- Ensure compliance with BS5839 and other relevant regulations.
- Provide accurate documentation and certification upon completion of work.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to meet project requirements and deadlines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues efficiently.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety standards at all times.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Installation Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems, including addressable and conventional types.
- Understanding of BS5839 standards and other relevant regulations.
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent is preferred.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Full UK driving license.
- able to put up containtment to a good standard.
- Will undergo DV vetting
- Will need to be a British Citizens no dual-nationallity.
