Our client, an independent accountancy practice, is seeking a Junior or Semi-Senior Accountant to join their friendly team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a growing practice with a good reputation for high-quality personal service and a family friendly feel.

- This is an office-based role, but hybrid working can be considered after completion of the probationary period
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Completion of bookkeeping for a mixed portfolio of Limited company and self-assessment clients
- Drafting corporation tax computations
- Completion of personal tax returns
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple business streams and identify areas of potential business growth
- Liaising with clients
Skills and experience required:
- AAT / ACCA part qualified or QBE
- 2 years' experience in an accounting position within a practice
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (formulas, VLOOKUP)
- Experience with accounting software - Xero, Free Agent, TaxCalc and Dext
- Good working knowledge of accounting procedures
- Extremely organised and self-motivated, with strong interpersonal skills, able to work in a small team
- Confident, friendly, and outgoing approach
