As a Sales Representative, you’ll play a key role in selling high-value capital equipment such as crawler cranes, piling rigs, diaphragm walling equipment, and rotary bored piling tools. Many deals exceed £100,000, so you'll have significant commission potential. There's no rigid territory – instead, you’ll work closely with a tight-knit team who all share the goal of growing the business together.

You’ll develop new business, maintain and grow existing accounts, and represent the company at trade exhibitions. You'll also be involved in supporting internal teams such as rental when needed. This role suits someone with great energy, a commercial mindset, and a willingness to get stuck in.

What you'll be doing:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers

  • Generate new leads through proactive outreach and cold calling

  • Follow up on all sales leads quickly and professionally

  • Manage your pipeline and lost order tracking through a CRM system

  • Prepare and follow up on detailed quotations

  • Provide sales forecasts and updates to the Sales Manager

  • Attend UK-based trade shows and occasional overseas exhibitions

  • Assist other departments where needed – this is a team-focused role

What you'll bring:
  • Strong communication – both written and verbal

  • Highly self-motivated and driven

  • Ability to manage your time and prioritise effectively

  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

  • Commercial awareness and a strategic mindset

  • Confident using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
