Class 2 Driver

Our client based in Stratford Upon Avon is a market leader in the distribution of Horticultural products across the UK.

We are recruiting for Class 2 drivers with an immediate start and ongoing work.

Duties

Delivering to garden centers and nurseries nationwide

Loading and unloading trollies at points of delivery and collection

Following organized run sheets and using a hand held PDA device

Represent our client in a professional manner at all times

On average 5-6 drops/collections per day

Occasional Night out`s if needed.

Completion of any company paperwork

Daily Vehicle checks

Full responsibility to keep the vehicle clean and tidy

As a HGVC Class 2 driver working for our client, you must have:

A flexible working attitude

Flexibility to night out when required

Occasional weekend availability

HGVC Class 2 entitlement

ValidCPC and Tacho

Good communication skills both written and verbal

Minimum 6 months experience driving a class 2 vehicle (Due to client insurance)

Hours of Work:

Approx. 50 hours per week (10-12 hours per day on average)

Start times between 0400 -0800 daily dependent on destination and run sheets

HGVC Class 2 Rates of Pay:

£16.50 PER HOUR (Average shift length 10-12 hrs.) + premium weekend rates.

** Pay Rates are INCLUSIVE of Holiday pay**
