What You'll be Doing:

As a Client Manager, you will take full ownership of a client portfolio, building strong client relationships and ensuring exceptional service. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a portfolio of clients, acting as their main point of contact, and handling all communications.

  • Preparing statutory accounts, monthly management accounts, VAT returns, and personal tax returns.

  • Supervising and training junior staff members, overseeing their workflow and ensuring deadlines are met.

  • Overseeing bookkeeping responsibilities, ensuring compliance and accuracy.

  • Collaborating closely with the Associate Director, who will provide support and guidance where needed.

  • Contributing to the continued growth and success of the practice through process improvement and innovative client management.

What we'll be looking for from you:

  • Part-qualified, newly qualified, or qualified by experience, with at least 4 years of practice experience.

  • Strong skills in preparing statutory accounts, management accounts, personal tax returns, and VAT returns in aPractice environment

  • A foundation-level understanding of tax regulations.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.

  • Knowledge of cloud-based accounting software such as Xero, IRIS, or similar.

  • Experience in client management is desirable but not essential, as you will receive support and training to develop in this area.

Working Arrangements:

  • Salary: £36,000 - £50,000 per annum (dependent on experience).

  • Flexible working hours available.

  • Standard working hours: Monday-Thursday, 9 am to 5 pm; Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
