Akkodis are partnering with a highly reputable client in the Financial Services/Insurance sector on the expansion of their Data Management/Change team.Our client have been on an exciting journey over the last 2-4 years to significantly improve the way they deliver data products to their stakeholders and user groups. They have created a structured process, built a knowledgeable and delivery-focused team and have worked on multiple initiatives to help improve the way the business uses data and data tools. The team predominantly focuses on data management, quality, analytics and literacy.

The team are now looking for a Project Coordinator/Junior PM to oversee and coordinate the Engineers, Analysts, Domain Managers and business stakeholder and drive forward delivery in an agile way without impacting the quality of work. You will lead, plan, track and report on data related activities and deliverables to ensure that stakeholders, dependencies, cost, quality and time are managed within agreed parameters, putting remedial actions in to place where needed or escalating where appropriate. Alongside delivery, you will also be involved in supporting the wider team with their data road map, in conjunction with the Data Centre of Excellence.

The successful candidate will have the following background:

  • A good foundation of experience as a Project Manager or Project Coordinator
  • Experience working on Data/IT related projects
  • Hands-on experience with ADO (Azure DevOps)
  • Agile experience would be preferred
  • Experience within the Financial Services or Insurance sectors would be highly beneficial

This is an exciting opportunity to join an established team and help them drive data projects forward within a fast-paced environment. Tne role would suit an experienced Project Coordinator or a Junior PM who is looking to expand their project delivery experience. The initial duration of the role is 3-6 months and there is scope that the role will be extended. The role has been deemed inside IR35 and the team require someone who can work on site 1 day per week in Stratford Upon Avon (they will consider twice per month if you are based further afield).
