About the role

We are hiring a Property Investment Asset Management Surveyor to work in our Property Investment team based in Stratford-Upon-Avon.

This is an exciting opportunity for a MRICS qualified Surveyor to move into an in-house property investment team where you will have the opportunity to contribute to the strategic direction of the property/asset portfolio to optimise the performance of the fund.

We operate a large property/asset portfolio (circa £1.7 billion) and you will play an important part in its continued development and operational success. You will travel across the UK regularly to manage properties whilst creating strong and productive landlord/tenant and supplier relationships.

An understanding of managing and improving investment fundamentals to create performance as well as property management and landlord and tenant law to protect property is important.

This role is ideal for someone wanting the opportunity to start their career as a newly qualified/couple of year qualified surveyor, as it will offer exposure with long-term progression opportunities.

About you

Experience in property management, L&T and asset management is an essential element of the role. Ideally the successful candidate will also have a solid understanding of the UK property investment market, valuation methodologies and an appreciation of how property can deliver positive investment outcomes.

Relationship building and an ability to manage suppliers to deliver successful outcomes will also be important, as is the ability to communicate clearly, both in writing and presentations. You should demonstrate adaptability, negotiation skills, and a problem-solving mindset, thriving in a dynamic environment while managing stakeholder interactions effectively.

  • Be a Member of Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS)
  • Be educated to degree standard or similar
  • Hold a valid UK Drivers Licence and be able to travel as required for the role
