Project Support Co-ordinator Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 DOE

Orion is proud to be partnering with a heavy industrial business based in Stratford-upon-Avon, currently recruiting for a skilled Project Support Co-ordinator to join their dynamic Project Management Team. This organisation specialises in heavy lift transport, haulage, and logistics. The ideal Project Support Co-ordinator will have experience within the haulage, heavy industrial, or construction sectors.

Project Support Co-ordinator Required Experience:

  • Proven project planning experience
  • Engaging with and liaising between multiple stakeholders
  • Strong ability to collaborate with external parties and bodies
  • A minimum of 18 months relevant UK experience in heavy industrial construction
  • Possession of a valid UK drivers licence
  • Background in civils or construction industries
  • IT proficiency, with expertise in Microsoft Office tools such as Excel
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Experience with budgets and invoicing

Project Support Co-ordinator Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating and planning projects involving abnormal heavy load movements across the UK
  • Supporting project teams to deliver timely and efficient project outcomes
  • Managing relationships with third parties such as councils, highway controllers, police, and traffic management teams
  • Acting as the main contact for third parties and stakeholders
  • Conducting detailed route surveys for projects
  • Serving as the key customer liaison throughout the lifecycle of projects
  • Identifying and mitigating risks associated with route planning
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting issues as they arise
  • Leading project planning meetings and calls
  • Organising third-party involvement and ensuring smooth project coordination
  • Developing route plans for heavy-load transportation
  • Preparing technical documents such as risk assessments
  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously with a high level of organisation
  • Building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships while managing expectations
  • Overseeing budgets and invoicing
  • Reporting directly to the Head of Project Delivery and escalating challenges as needed
