We’re looking for an experienced Client Manager to join a leading accountancy firm in Stratford-upon-Avon. This role offers the opportunity to manage a portfolio of clients across a wide range of industries, with the support of an established team of accountants working towards their professional qualifications.

Role Responsibilities
  • Overseeing a varied portfolio of clients, acting as their primary point of contact
  • Preparing complex limited accounts and reviewing work completed by junior staff
  • Collaborating with other departments to deliver on project objectives, including valuations, cashflow forecasts, and restructuring advice
  • Supervising and training junior team members, supporting their professional development
  • Working closely with the Partner to ensure effective workflow management and delegation
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships, including attending client meetings when necessary
  • Handling ad hoc client queries and providing support across various departments
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing new systems and controls

This well-respected accountancy practice has been successfully operating in Stratford-upon-Avon for over 30 years.

Recently expanding through mergers and becoming part of a national group, the firm is known for offering a wide range of services, including accounts, audit, tax, payroll, and more. The Stratford office has around 50 team members and serves a diverse client base across industries like property, retail, construction, and manufacturing.

Candidate Requirements
  • ACA or ACCA qualified, with solid experience in managing client portfolios
  • Strong working knowledge of FRS 102 and accounting standards relevant to SMEs
  • Experience in accounts preparation and reviewing, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with great attention to detail
  • A proactive attitude with a passion for growth and learning
  • Familiarity with CCH accounting software is beneficial but not essential
