The Role as a Behaviour Mentor

We are seeking a passionate and organisedBehaviour Mentorto join our team. This role is pivotal in supporting the smooth running of student groups, ensuring all pupils receive the best possible educational experience. You will be responsible for coordinating group activities, supporting teachers and support staff, and maintaining clear communication between staff, students, and parents.

Key Responsibilities as a Behaviour Mentor

  • Oversee and coordinate student groups, ensuring effective timetabling and resource allocation.

  • Work closely with teachers and support staff to provide a structured and supportive environment for students.

  • Act as a key point of contact between parents, staff, and external agencies, ensuring effective communication.

  • Monitor student progress and well-being, implementing strategies to enhance engagement and learning outcomes.

  • Assist with the planning and organisation of group activities, outings, and enrichment opportunities.

  • Ensure all safeguarding policies and procedures are upheld.

The Ideal Candidate for a Behaviour Mentor

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced in working within an SEN or educational setting.
