Akkodis are partnering with a highly reputable client within the Financial Services/Insurance sector on an exciting opportunity to join their expanding Technology Operations team.

Our client are mid-flight on a large scale Data Centre transformation project, as a result of this project there is a new structure in the way they conduct their patch management activities across their whole business.

We are on the lookout for an experienced Infrastructure professional to assist our client in the coordination and management of patching. The role requires an organised individual who has a background in managing patching activities or a technical patching background. You will need to work closely with third party vendors, internal and external technical teams to ensure team members are working to SLA's and the organisation's infrastructure and software applications are fully compliant.

The successful candidate will have the following experience:

  • Experience as an Infrastructure/Release Manager or Team Lead experience in an Infrastructure team
  • Experience overseeing/managing Patch Management activities
  • ITIL awareness
  • Experience implementing and adhering to SLA's
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience in the Financial Services/Insurance or Regulated environment experience would be beneficial

This is a new role and will give a candidate the opportunity to make their own mark on an area that needs support. The initial contract length is 6 months with a high possibility of extension. The role has been deemed inside IR35 and you will be required to work on site in Stratford Upon Avon 1-2 times per month.
