Assistant Planner

Location: Stratford-upon-Avon

We're seeking an Assistant Planner to join a vibrant team in Stratford-upon-Avon!

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience: At least 12 months of planning experience, ideally within the private sector.
  • Education: A degree in Town Planning or a related field (preferably RTPI accredited).
  • Skills: Proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering excellent results.
  • Requirements:
    • IT proficiency.
    • Strong report-writing skills.
    • Full driving license and access to a vehicle.
    • Ability to manage time effectively, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing circumstances.

About the Role:

You'll play a key part in supporting the team by:

  • Handling client enquiries via phone and email.
  • Preparing scopes of work and briefing notes for clients.
  • Conducting site assessments, policy analysis, and material consideration reviews.
  • Preparing and submitting planning applications.
  • Building knowledge of Planning Law and Practice while engaging in diverse and impactful projects.
