About the Role
My client is seeking talented and ambitious Town Planners to join a growing Planning team in Stratford-upon-Avon. Whether you're starting your career as a Graduate Town Planner or an experienced Senior Town Planner, we have a role for you. You will work on a wide range of planning projects, from residential to commercial developments, providing expert advice to clients and managing planning applications through to approval.

As part of our experienced team, you'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects across the region, liaising with local authorities, developers, and landowners, while contributing to the success of the business and helping to shape the future of local developments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage planning applications from initial consultation through to submission and approval.
  • Provide planning advice to clients, ensuring their objectives are met while navigating complex planning regulations.
  • Prepare detailed site assessments, policy analysis, and planning reports.
  • Liaise with local authorities, stakeholders, and consultants to ensure smooth project progression.
  • Attend and present at planning committees, consultations, and public meetings where required.
  • Support or manage appeals and enforcement cases.

Candidate Requirements

  • Relevant degree in Town Planning or a related discipline.
  • Membership or eligibility for membership with the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI).
  • Strong knowledge of UK planning regulations and processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
