Job Title: Town Planner
Location: Stratford-upon-Avon (Hybrid Working)

Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting s design, planning and development consultancy who are looking for talented Planners, from Junior to Senior levels, to join a dynamic and growing team in Stratford-upon-Avon.

You'll be working across a diverse range of projects, from urban regeneration schemes to strategic planning initiatives, collaborating with clients, stakeholders, and fellow professionals to achieve successful outcomes. Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborating with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders to develop and implement strategic planning policies and initiatives
* Managing planning applications, appeals, and consultations in line with relevant legislation and best practices
* Conducting site searches, feasibility studies, and impact assessments to inform planning decisions
* Engaging with local communities, businesses, and government agencies to foster positive relationships
* Providing expert advice on planning matters to clients and external stakeholders
* Keeping up to date with legislative changes, trends, and best practices in urban planning
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a Planning role (local government, consultancy, or development industry preferred)
* A relevant Planning qualification (or working towards one)
* RTPI membership or working towards it
* Strong understanding of the planning process and systems
* Excellent writing and communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail
* Ability to prioritize workloads and manage time efficiently
* Enthusiastic, driven, and a collaborative team player
