Criminal ParalegalStratford upon Avon - Hybrid£25,000 - £35,0000 A fantastic, established Stratford upon Avon firm, known to us as a client for many years are keen to add an experienced Paralegal to their already impressive Criminal team. The firm have a great reputation for dealing with high profile cases, whilst working normal office hours. Based in well-equipped offices in an impressive setting, close to commuter links, the Paralegal will benefit from working with a cohesive team of Assistants, Fee Earners and Partners to deliver a high quality of a full range of Paralegal Duties in Stratford upon Avon. Duties and responsibilities of the Paralegal in Family:
  • Supporting the Solicitors and Partners within the team with their caseload, but will also offer the opportunity to work independently on a number of varied tasks and matters in appropriate cases
  • Provide full paralegal support to the partners
  • Assisting in progressing client matters, including taking instructions
  • Reviewing evidence
  • Preparing criminal cases
  • Ad Hoc paralegal work
  Skills Required:
  • Prior Criminal Paralegal / Assistant experience is essential
  • Competent in all IT applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Strong attention to detail and a clear communication style (both written and verbal)
  • Good time management skills and the ability to manage and prioritise a range of tasks
  • Commitment to good customer service
  • Good empathy skills and the ability to deal with a range of different personality types when working with clients and witnesses
  • Commitment to meeting or exceeding personal targets
  • Willing to listen and learn
  • Good team player with a willingness to assist colleagues
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, committed and approachable
  • Ability to remain calm and professional when under pressure
