Description

The role of Supervisor will involve:

  • Overseeing the day-to-day picking and packing of customer orders on the PM shift (2pm-10pm).
  • Coordinating and managing staff on shift, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Implementing and maintaining operational procedures in line with company policies.
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless process flow.
  • Monitoring the performance of staff and provide feedback and coaching as needed.
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensuring health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times.
  • Handling any escalated staff issues that arise during your shift.

Profile

A successful Supervisor should have:

  • Proven experience in a managerial role within the logistics industry (preferably in e-commerce).
  • Excellent leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively and efficiently.
  • A proactive approach and 'can-do' attitude.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and industry best practices.
  • LEAN, Kaizen or 5S experience (advantageous).
  • Outstanding problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to handle staff issues professionally.
  • A background in Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain.
