Description
The role of Team Leader will involve:
- Daily running of the picking and packing of customer orders on the PM shift (2pm-10pm).
- Coordinating and leading the staff on shift, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Implementing and maintaining operational procedures in line with company policies.
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless process flow.
- Monitoring the performance of staff and provide feedback and coaching as needed.
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Ensuring health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times.
Profile
A successful Team Leader should have:
- Proven experience in a team leading role within the logistics industry (preferably in e-commerce).
- Excellent leadership skills and the ability to lead a team effectively and efficiently.
- A proactive approach and 'can-do' attitude.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and industry best practices.
- LEAN, Kaizen or 5S experience (advantageous).
- Outstanding problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and the ability to handle staff issues professionally.
- A background in Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain.
Job Offer
