We are looking to recruit a Process Technician - CHP, working with a leading manufacturer of sustainable feeds and oil. This role will ensure that all shift works are completed in the most efficient and safe manner, whilst adhering to company and regulatory standards.
This role works 4 days on (7am – 7pm), 4 days off, 4 nights on (7pm – 7am).

Responsibilities of the Process Technician - CHP:

  • Improve operational efficiency of the CHP Plant using experience and knowledge to direct conversations with the Lead Technician.
  • Within its certified calibrated tolerances, ensure on a weekly basis that the calibration of the weigh belt is maintained.
  • Conducted daily, ensure all routine sampling and testing of the production processes.
  • Complete all routine operational, safety and preventative maintenance checks.
  • Liaise with the maintenance teams in the event of any problems or failures of equipment.
  • Monitor the performance of the steam and gas fired boilers.
  • Work with the waste material, ensuring safe disposal.


What we are looking for in the Process Technician - CHP:

  • Knowledge of SCADA and PLC based plant operations.
  • Previous experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • A proactive approach to delivering key actions.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines both within a team and on own initiative.
  • Keep safety at the forefront and having a safety first approach.
