Process Technician

Up to £42,000 depending on experience.

We are looking to recruit a Process Technician, working with a leading manufacturer of sustainable feeds and oil. This role will ensure that production targets are not only achieved within a safe and efficient manner, but in line with company and regulatory standards.
This role works 4 days on (7am 7pm), 4 days off, 4 nights on (7pm 7am).

Responsibilities of the Process Technician:

  • Ensure all production targets are achieved by the safe operating of all plant processes.
  • Ensure all the routine sampling and testing of production processes are carried out and recorded.
  • Check that all assigned safety and preventative maintenance is undertaken within agreed schedules.
  • If needed assist the maintenance team on any issues which arise on the plant.
  • Ensure that company compliance procedures and methods are adhered to.
  • Any production related waste is moved to the disposal areas in the most efficient time.
  • Complete records and reports around process data.
  • Submit any safety issue reports.

What we are looking for in the Process Technician:

  • Knowledge of SCADA and PLC based plant operations.
  • Previous experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • A proactive approach to delivering key actions.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines both within a team and on own initiative.
