We are seeking an experienced and proactive Project Manager to join a leading commercial catering equipment business with over 25 years of industry experience. Renowned for their commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, the company has become a trusted partner for businesses across the UK. They are looking for a dedicated and organised Project Manager to join their dynamic delivery team and play a key role in managing the end-to-end delivery of catering equipment projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage 3-5 projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Coordinate all project activities, from initial planning to successful handover.
- Conduct comprehensive site surveys to assess project requirements.
- Brief designers with accurate and detailed information from site surveys.
- Prepare pricing and quotes for works, ensuring competitive and accurate cost estimates.
- Raise purchase orders for equipment and materials required for projects.
- Oversee the installation process, ensuring compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.
- Manage subcontractors on-site, providing clear instructions and maintaining schedules.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, designers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Maintain clear communication and provide regular project updates to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in project management within the catering installation sector (preferred).
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems is advantageous.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders.
- A proactive problem-solver with strong attention to detail.
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to travel daily to various sites across the UK.
- Valid UK driving license.
